Bed Time Poem

Daughter dear, have no fear

For father is awake

And all around, there’s not a sound

So soft, his ears escape

Give goodnights and close your eyes

Ending every sough

Sowing seeds, of the sweetest dreams

Delightfully drizzling down

Bedtime begs as I said

Sweet slumber asks you stay

Secrets squall, you to leave these halls

Hypnotic hearts will stray

Lastly love from above

Are angels checking in

I’ll insist nothing is missed

Morning’s melody comes again
